The project promotes a cross-sectoral alliance that brings together universities, businesses, and public administrations from disciplines often not collaborative, such as urban planning and architecture, with forestry and urban ecology, as well as with socio-economic information and communication technologies (ICT). The alliance forms the foundation for the development of new training and supports students and professionals working on innovative urban forestry projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A 1.5-hectare intervention will be carried out, with a total of 1,680 trees.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration accordion'><div class='collaboration-inner'><div class='collaboration-title'><h2 class='title'>SUPERB &#8211; Systemic solutions for upscaling of urgent ecosystem restoration for forest related biodiversity and ecosystem services<\/h2><div class='toggle-button-wrap'><a role='button' tabindex='1' aria-label='Close' href='#' class='expand'><svg viewBox='0 0 24 24' width='36' height='36'><use xlink:href='\/wp-content\/themes\/forestami\/assets\/images\/ic-chevron.svg#Page-1'><\/use><\/svg><\/a><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration-content content'><p>It is a 20 million euro project funded by the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the European Union&#8217;s Green Deal to restore thousands of hectares of forest landscape across Europe. With 36 partners in 16 countries, led by the European Forest Institute and co-coordinated by Wageningen Environmental Research, SUPERB will implement concrete restoration actions in 12 large-scale demonstration areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Five interventions have been carried out, covering 12 hectares, with a total of 13,000 trees and shrubs planted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration accordion'><div class='collaboration-inner'><div class='collaboration-title'><h2 class='title'>National Biodiversity Future Centre &#8211; (NBFC)<\/h2><div class='toggle-button-wrap'><a role='button' tabindex='1' aria-label='Close' href='#' class='expand'><svg viewBox='0 0 24 24' width='36' height='36'><use xlink:href='\/wp-content\/themes\/forestami\/assets\/images\/ic-chevron.svg#Page-1'><\/use><\/svg><\/a><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration-content content'><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NBFC is a network of 48 partners coordinated by the National Research Council (CNR), formed around the priority theme of biodiversity. In response to the public notice of the PNRR for strengthening research structures and the creation of &#8216;national champions&#8217; of research and development on key enabling technologies, published by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR), the Center supports research and innovation activities for the enhancement of biodiversity through circular economy processes and economic restoration, capable of protecting environmental resources and ensuring the well-being of individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three interventions have been carried out, covering 3.6 hectares, with a total of 3,800 trees and shrubs planted.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration accordion'><div class='collaboration-inner'><div class='collaboration-title'><h2 class='title'>Bando Ministeriale RIFORESTAZIONE &#8211; Decreto Clima 2020<\/h2><div class='toggle-button-wrap'><a role='button' tabindex='1' aria-label='Close' href='#' class='expand'><svg viewBox='0 0 24 24' width='36' height='36'><use xlink:href='\/wp-content\/themes\/forestami\/assets\/images\/ic-chevron.svg#Page-1'><\/use><\/svg><\/a><\/div><\/div><div class='collaboration-content content'><p>The climate regulates the planning methods for interventions and the allocation of resources to fund experimental programs for the creation of urban and peri-urban forests in the 14 metropolitan areas of Italy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFifteen projects have been presented and funded in collaboration with the Metropolitan City of Milan, covering a
