The project, promoted by Fondazione Forestami in partnership with the Municipality of Pozzo d\u2019Adda and made possible thanks to the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionealiafalck.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fondazione Alia Falck<\/a>, represents a concrete example of <strong>participatory urban forestry<\/strong> in the Metropolitan City of Milan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #317222;\">The initiative was launched with a dual objective: <strong>to create new green areas and to foster a conscious community<\/strong> capable of taking care of its own territory. The project unfolds over three years, supporting step by step the growth of the forest and the relationships that will keep it alive over time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #317222;\">A new area of over 20,500 square meters<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #317222;\">The new forest involves the <strong>creation of a wooded area<\/strong> of over <strong>20,500 square meters<\/strong>, with the planting of <strong>1,691 trees and shrubs<\/strong>, carried out by Cooperativa La Goccia. A space designed to offer the community a place dedicated to well-being and social interaction. In February 2026, an initial discussion with the community took place. In spring, some of the activities that emerged during this meeting will be tested, while in autumn the Manifesto of the Pozzo d\u2019Adda Forest Community will be drafted, a shared document defining values and commitments for the future care of the area.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"color: #317222;\"><span style=\"color: #317222;\"><strong>Third year: 2027<\/strong><br \/>\nThe third year will focus on continuing the activities launched and on monitoring both the forested area and the community that has grown around it.
