The study offers a comprehensive reading of <strong>\u201cpublicly accessible urban green spaces\u201d<\/strong> that contribute to health and wellbeing, and maps them on a metropolitan scale across the Milan area. The study highlights the importance of enhancing and expanding the system of informal spaces. Almost <strong>2,000 green spaces, both public and private<\/strong>, were identified, covering a total of 13,000 hectares, in line with WHO recommendations on accessibility standards and green space per capita.
