Objective
The new wooded strips strengthen the natural edge between the countryside and the urban center, while the new woodland created in the heart of the Mairano hamlet improves the area’s environmental performance.
Noviglio
Several areas of Noviglio are affected by the intervention: three near the equipped park in Via Valè, with the creation of wooded strips of black alders and willows adjacent to the playground and benches, the planting of shrub specimens along the outer fence, and black alders in the adjacent wooded area in continuity with the park’s tree row.
At the intersection of the provincial roads at the entrance to Noviglio, on an uncultivated surface of 16,643 m², a new woodland will rise, with the planting of typical floodplain forest species. Additionally, along the existing cycle path, hawthorns and ashes will grow.
In the Mairano hamlet, in a 1,557 m² green area at the intersection of Via Aldo Moro and Via Roma, maples and trees and shrubs typical of floodplain forests have been planted.
Students from the Alberto Manzi Primary School were involved in the symbolic planting of some trees, which will grow alongside them.
