Objective
The new plantings in Parco Gioia, in the area near the railway, and along Via Nenni and Via Plebiscito increase and improve the quality of the city’s public green spaces.
Trezzano sul Naviglio
The three areas involved in the Forestami interventions were:
– Parco Gioia, covering a surface of 1,740 square meters, where 368 trees and shrubs were planted;
– the parking area on Via Ticino, which was enriched with 159 plants in a 750 m² reforestation zone;
– along the embankment of Via Nenni, where an area of 1,026 square meters now hosts 230 trees and shrubs.
The new wooded areas consist of native forest species, arranged in parallel, curvilinear rows to facilitate maintenance operations while ensuring a more natural appearance of the forest formations.
