Objective
The depaving and environmental restoration of the former ITEM site within Parco Nord Milano aim to improve the park’s overall ecological and environmental quality.
Bresso
Following a cleaning and depaving intervention, aimed at making the former ITEM industrial site permeable again and ready to host a new woodland, 400 new trees were planted in the spring, with the involvement of local citizens.
Soil regeneration measures, which aim to restore natural conditions, are strategic for the Forestami project and represent an important step in mitigating the effects of climate change.
