Objective
The increase in tree cover in the Parco Via dei Giardini improves the environmental performance of the area around the municipal library and creates a shrub belt adjacent to the cemetery and along the provincial road.
Dresano
The two projects involved enhancing the greenery of the garden outside the municipal library – designed with consideration for nearby residences, the positioning of the parking area, and the need to preserve visibility of the wall featuring a mural – ensuring accessibility in relation to the public service present.
They also included the creation of a shrub belt between the cemetery and the provincial road that crosses the town, aimed at improving the quality of the infrastructural system and its integration with the surrounding environment.
Several classes from the Giovanni XXIII Primary School and the Don Milani Lower Secondary School took part in the initiative: some students representing each class helped plant several trees.
