Objective
The new wooded areas near the industrial zone in the Parco Lura aim to regenerate an area previously affected by inappropriate use and to restore environmental quality. The creation of shrub belts along the edge of the residential area on Via Montegrappa enhances environmental quality and establishes a new relationship with the surrounding agricultural landscape.

The project involved Parco Lura – where 4,528 trees were planted across an area of 27,622 square meters – and the area adjacent to the roundabout on Corso Europa, covering a total of 7,100 square meters that now hosts 1,345 trees and shrubs.
The increase in tree cover within green and park areas, as well as along infrastructure zones, together with the strengthening of environmental and ecological assets along the Canale Villoresi and near the entrance to Parco Lura, contributes to a better qualitative definition of the boundary between built spaces and open areas, improving the environmental and landscape conditions of the industrial zones.
