Objective
The development of the new urban park enhances arboreal endowment in the district, elevates environmental standards, and buffers railway impacts.
Milano – via Chiasserini
Located on the border between Affori and Quarto Oggiaro, the green area, running along the railway between Via Dante Chiasserini and Via Concilio Vaticano II, has been the subject of a major soil remediation and reforestation project, supported by Esselunga and managed by Cooperativa Demetra.
554 ready-to-effect trees (about 3 to 5 meters tall) have been planted, creating 4 wooded areas in a naturalized environment, along with 597 shrubs forming varied thickets within the tree zones. Among the species planted: plane trees, silver linden, cherries, white hornbeams, common linden, and wild linden.
