In November, the first collective planting took place in the Municipality of Pozzo d’Adda, laying the foundations for the creation of a new urban forest. It was a well-attended and meaningful day that involved families, children, and residents, united by the desire to actively contribute to the creation of a new green space for the area.

A new and important phase now begins: building a community that will take care of the forest over time, supporting its growth and making it a living and shared space.
For this reason, on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 to 12:30, the first open meeting will take place at Sala Margherita Hack, in Via Carducci 5. The event is open to residents and associations interested in building an active and lasting connection with the new urban forest. Admission is free and no registration is required.
This first meeting marks the beginning of a path of participation and care that will accompany the Pozzo d’Adda forest over time, strengthening the active involvement of the community in its growth and future.
The meeting is designed as a moment of discussion, a first step toward taking care of this new green space over time and building a shared path for the stewardship of the area: a forest that grows together with the people who live around it.
Later, during 2026, in spring we will experiment together with some of the activities that emerged from the February 7 meeting, and in autumn we will write the manifesto of the Pozzo d’Adda forest community.

Thanks to thank Fondazione Alia Falck for its support and Cooperativa Pares and Cooperativa La Goccia for the organization.
