Via Mazzini – The intervention, designed and carried out in collaboration with Cooperativa Sociale Officina Onlus and supported by a contribution from Amazon, involved the planting of 316 new trees: oaks, Turkey oaks, hornbeams, wild cherries, field maples, ash trees, hairy honeysuckles, spindle trees, dogwoods, and common privets. As they grow, these species will create a rich green environment along the pedestrian and cycling path within the residential context of Via Mazzini. With this first small forest of trees and shrubs, the Forestami project in Rosate aims to enhance the quality of green spaces close to the homes in the neighborhood.

Via Amburgo – Near the community gardens on Via Amburgo, a new wooded area will take shape, complemented by a “filter” hedge and shrubs running alongside the cycling path. Cooperativa Officina is responsible for the planting and maintenance of the project, which covers an area of 6,443 square meters near the southern industrial zone of Rosate. Although closely connected to the local infrastructure that serves nearby companies, this area is part of a system of open spaces characterized by wooded strips and agricultural fields.
